We are looking for a stellar Marketing Manager to work on projects from big to small aimed at creating awareness and engagement for Then I Met You. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of relevant experience and has a portfolio of their projects to showcase it. The Marketing Manager will be a key contributor in driving campaign and project development for everything from partnerships to campaigns to leading PR and influencer strategies. We are looking for someone who naturally blends being a team player with leadership abilities. The right candidate has a deep passion for brand storytelling, beauty, and our mission — and is excited to introduce Then I Met You to new audiences!


  • Lead PR and influencer strategies in partnership with co-founder to drive new traffic and increase earned media impressions, brand awareness, organic reach and support SEO goals
  • Evaluate and activate brand partnerships, collaborations, and events for new customer acquisition and drive awareness
  • Oversee all social media channels and increase size of community as well as engagement (Tiktok, Instagram, etc)
  • Partner with Directors and Founder to develop and execute product launches, and efforts in acquisition and awareness targets, increase brand awareness and set brand direction.
  • Partner with Directors and founder to innovate in the space with ‘out of box’ solutions to increase awareness and consideration
  • Develop brand content/assets to drive brand familiarity and brand consideration on paid media, CRM, SMS, etc.
  • Analyze appropriate brand metrics for all brand initiatives against KPI goals to evaluate and optimize key initiatives
  • Collaborate with all cross functional teams to align on brand objectives and execute key initiatives for retailer partners (i.e. Soko Glam, Cult Beauty)


  • 6+ years brand marketing and communications experience, Beauty industry experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Shopify Experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience with all different aspects of marketing: CRM, SMS, Brand, Multi-channel campaign optimization, activation events, guerilla marketing, other creative lead generation, copy
  • Excel in fast paced environment with great multitasking skills and ability to focus on details and project management while being able to think big picture and strategy at the same time
  • Proven track record of delivering results and managing/developing direct reports
  • Proven strategic, problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication, organization, and influencing skills with impeccable attention to detail with high degree of accuracy and proven ability to lead (a high performance team), build relationships, and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $71,000-$97,000 in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. The exact salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the location, complexity and scope of the role as well as the skills, education, credentials and experience or training of the candidate. Our recruiting team will be happy to elaborate more on the specifics of the salary range for you during the hiring process.
